Our home
On-going redevelopment work at Abu Dhabi Airport has significantly enhanced the experience for Guests and allows us to expand and meet our ambitious growth plans.

The second runway at Abu Dhabi International Airport, which was officially opened in October 2008, is part of a large scale AED 25 billion redevelopment and expansion project at the airport. A Midfield Terminal Complex will complete the redevelopment within the next few years, increasing the annual capacity to 40 million passengers.

Etihad Airways Terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi International Airport, opened in February 2009, is dedicated to Etihad and extends the airport’s capacity by 5 million Guests per year.

In tandem with this, we have recently moved to a new Head Office building close to the airport. This purpose-built facility is part of a three building complex that also includes a state-of-the-art Training Academy and the Al Abraj complex of Etihad offices and residential accommodation for staff.
